Last fall, as a willing victim of an impulse purchase, I acquired some bulbs from the local garden store. I was drawn to the notion of surprising Kyle, as well as creating a way to document the passing of time. Just a few weeks ago, my secret mission paid off. A beautiful tulip emerged.
