Grapes galore...

Here's a glimpse of fall in Santa Barbara County. Though the seasons here are subtle, we do get opportunities to mark the passing of time by celebrating the various harvests.

Sandcastle fest...

Yet another festival has come and gone in Santa Barbara. A few weekends ago we experienced the Sandcastle fest. An interesting name, considering the fact that there were more sandsculptures than actual castles. Either way, it was fun to support the local and often under-recognized sand artists.

Bon Voyage Mel and Adam...

The "homies" gathered for a goodbye barbecue in honor of the wonderful Melanie and Adam. (They are the couple sitting directly behind Kyle in this photo.) Life is taking them on a series of adventures, across both state and country lines. They will be missed!
